The Decision to Stop Building

You have invested significant time, identity, and technical effort into a startup, but the product has not achieved sustainable commercial traction. There are still improvements you could build, and stopping would mean accepting that the original vision did not work as intended.

ILOVEGREENER was an important technical and leadership experience, but it was not a commercially successful business. Eventually, the leadership question was no longer what else could be built. It was whether continuing was the best use of time, energy, and resources.
